Product Overview

ClinsWound™ is recommended for cleansing, irrigating, wetting and assisting in the debridement process of acute and chronic wounds: i.e. pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, surgical incisions, skin tears, traumayic skin damage, fistulas, burns and tunneling. ClinsWound™ is offered in a choice of four sizes; a 2 and 4 oz. squeeze bottle for convenience and an 8 and 16 oz. trigger spray dispenser which allows a stream or spray. ClinsWound™ aids in the removal of foreign debris, necrotic tissue, slough, blood, exudate, and other contaminants in a wound.

Product Specifics

ClinsWound™ is prepared with non-ionic surfactant to allow for gentle, efficient cleansing action with no cytotoxicity. The surfactant suspends oily materials in the wound in order that they may be washed away. When ClinsWound™ is applied to wounds, it provides lubricity for gentle removal of debris with no irritation. Since this product is readily miscible with both water and fat, it provides efficient cleaning at the hard to reach depths of the wound. ClinsWound™ will not promote microbial growth, as saline will, and also has a shelf life of 2 years.

Directions for Use

IRRIGATING & FLUSHING WOUND:

  1. Position nozzle to stream setting.
  2. Direct the nozzle into wound.
  3. Pull trigger to effectively flush and dislodge debris, exudate, dried blood, etc.
  4. Proceed with treatment protocol; no rinsing necessary.

Maintaining Moist Enviornment

  1. Position nozzle to spray setting.
  2. Gently spray into wound or soak gauze pad in ClinsWound™ and loosely pack the wound taking up all dead space. Change dressing as needed. Do not allow gauze to dry.
  3. Proceed with treatment protocol, no rinsing necessary
